PH Fencing

Fencing AwardsFencing Awards—March 7, 20220

PH Fencing’s customer in Mudgee NSW had a real need to secure the privacy and security of their family. The fence needed to be stable enough to withstand wind and storms so thought went into how best to achieve this.

The customer had wanted a Matt finish to the COLORBOND® steel however was happy with the Satin finish once explained that this finish is not yet available in fencing material.

The greatest challenge was providing a stable 2.1m fence as a privacy fence on a decent slope.

Due to the height and the slope, PH Fencing had no choice but to step the fence. The fence had to be built on the inside of a brick wall.

There were also two other sections of fence, requiring different heights and material.

Privacy was of great concern. Access was tricky, as was staging the sections around other works in progress.

PH Fencing used COLORBOND® steel REFLECT 2100mm in Monument with 75 x 75mm powdercoated steel posts in between panels to stabilise.

On the opposing side of the yard, PH Fencing utilised COLORBOND® steel Alleysleepers in Monument also under 1.8m panels of the same COLORBOND fence to increase the height.
